How do you make sure you feel good everyday? You probably expected this answer, but it is true, I feel good by exercising everyday. I also laugh and have fun. I try to mix it up and not to fall into a monotonous routine.
What inspires you to do the work that you do? I love seeing my clients’ bodies transform. It isn’t so much about the physical, as it is about the emotional and spiritual – I can see their confidence rise, their attitudes change. They just seem to glow and to inhabit their beings in a more positive way. That is very rewarding.
How did you muster up the courage/confidence/stamina to create the life you have? I am not sure it takes courage. Training comes naturally to me. It is truly what I love to do. I healed myself from weight gain and feeling blue, through exercising. It changed my life and I feel very fortunate that I can help others change their lives.
What’s your approach to nutrition? Eat well. You are what you eat! I believe in six well balanced small meals throughout the day. Each body is different so it is important to listen to what your body needs. I also believe in giving myself a treat every now and then.
What do you do to stay in balance? My day is by the hour! I fit everything in hour to hour. Somehow, I do find the time to fit it all in. I make sure I exercise, sleep and eat right. I also try to take one day off a week.
What’s your ultimate indulgence – just for you? SWEETS! I know that surprises people but a healthy sweet now and then is not harmful. I also love a day of pampering just for me.
What advice do you have for women/men aiming to have it all? In other words, what do you do or have you done that works for you? Live life to the fullest. Hard work is part of my life but so is having fun. Balance is so important! If you are visiting Venus In Balance I guess you knew that already!
Any other thoughts? Yes, try something you haven’t tried before. We often get stuck in old patterns. Challenge yourself and reward yourself.
