Linda’s story begins with her journey of recovery, from an accident. Her life was immediately compromised at the young age of 24, the only thing doctors could offer her was a big bottle of codeine, and said she would need it for the rest of her life. Linda knew there had to be a better way. The holistic movement was in its infancy and held the cure – connection to Spirit, proper nutrition, and finding your soul’s purpose.

Inspired by her spiritual awakening, she began to travel the world in search of meaning.

Jennifer Karin is an intelligent and extremely humorous author, columnist, and blogger. Jen’s written word, no matter the platform, is worth reading. Unless of course you don’t like laughing. Our favorite endeavor of Jen’s is her mission to ignite a spark in children’s imaginations. We call Jen, The Imagination Whisperer! After a 25 year career in public relations and advertising, Jen decided to follow her passion and get writing. What followed are several books including: Letters to a Girl, The Bear Who Loves Halloween, and The Dreamstarter Books 1 & 2. The Dreamstarter Book won the 2009 Book of the Year Award from Creative Child magazine for the way it brings families together.

After years of doing the right thing, Theresa Ma followed her heart as to what the right thing really was when she founded SCO, a fabulous skincare company that keeps mere mortals and celebrities alike looking young and fresh! Theresa spent her younger years helping out in her family’s manufacturing companies, following that with a long career in marketing in the US and Asian markets. Personally, she battled her own skin issues, which fed her desire to create solutions! Now, with SCO, which customizes skincare products based on the needs and desires of Theresa’s customers, she’s doing exactly what she is meant to do. Her stuff works magic!

Jason Shaltz – Family, Love, Photography and Donuts

Jason Shaltz, photographer and director (full disclosure: he photographed Karen’s 40th birthday do – see pic inside!), figured out what he loved, leaned on family and friends to support his courage to pursue it and now leads a life of happiness, fulfillment and the occasional donut! Together with his sister, Carrie, they photograph art, music, fashion and other personal events. Jason’s talent is clear… where he’ll go is totally up to him!
